Mermaids Cove Beach Resort and Spa is a perfect getaway to honeymoon, family vacation or just a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of life. It has a quiet and little fishing village on the east cost of Zanzibar. Local people live traditionally fishing (there’s also a fish market on the beach;  it’s very folklorist to see the fish auctions) and seaweed harvesting, which is usually used for cosmetics.

A total of 34 rooms, 26 rooms are sea facing, while 8 are garden side rooms all offering comfortable and spacious accommodation with either king or queen size beds or twin beds, air-conditioned, en suite bathroom with special guest amenities, mini bar and coffee/tea making facilities. There is not really a bad or good time to go, but almost anytime it suits you. However there are two main seasons in Zanzibar. A High or Standard season is usually between June and March when you can expect Zanzibar to be very popular among worldwide tourists. Rainy season is usually during April and May when the heavy, but short rains can often occur, but it’s also the season when it’s the least crowded.
