Moreover, Petäjävesi Old Church includes all key elements necessary to express its outstanding universal value, such as the graveyard surrounded by a fence and the nearby landscape setting, fields and lakeside.

The Rock Church (Temppeliaukio Church) was built entirely under the ground and the ceiling is covered with copper wires. The construction began in 1968 and was finished a year later in 1969.
