Main destinations on Majorca Island

North side of Majorca

The Bay of Pollensa is home to luxury yachts and accommodation alongside with the colourful local fishing boats. There are a few small beaches in the area, all offering good facilities and water sports. The warm, shallow waters of the bay make this an especially popular place for families with small children.

Alcudia is located in the northern part of the island and is one of the most popular among tourists. The beach here is stretched with fine sand, smooth entrance and the very clean water especially during the summer months. Therefore, Alcudia is not only a beach or beachfront walk, but also has a magnificent medieval fortress on whose walls you can admire the whole town.

South side of Majorca

Palma de Mallorca is the vibrant capital, stylish and intimate, yet bursting with life. Half of the island’s population lives in this lively city all year round. Palma is a city of modern, hotel chains and flashy shops. On the other hand is dated and still retains much of the old architecture, with the Old Town having narrow streets, and showing the restored cathedral standing proud in the centre of town.

Porto Cristo is a natural harbour and charming little fishing town in the eastern region of Mallorca. But today you can still see working fishing boats in the harbour, alongside with speedboats and yachts. In short, Porto Cristo is quiet and does not have many activities, so is best for relaxed holidays and is great for families.

Cala d’ Or is one of the first coastal tourist resorts in Mallorca. However, it is located a short distance from the capital of Palma de Mallorca. You will be delighted of this area thanks to the natural beauty of the beaches and bays of the area.
